He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Schell and Susan Schell; and his brother Harry Schell. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Connie Picken (Al), Wes Schell and Bev Rancier (Jim); his grandchildren, Greg Picken (Kim), Steve Picken (Tina), Bryan Rancier (Kortney), James Rancier, Chelsea Hill (Luke), Kaitlin Conroy (Wes) and James Larmer (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Jaina, Grayson, Bryar, Raelyn, Amelia, Jill, Ryker, Coraline, Avery, Benjamin and Tessa; his siblings, Percy Schell (Dot) and Marie Cote (Joe); and his sister-in-law Barbara Schell. He is also survived by his many family members, friends.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, a private family service will take place.
