She was predeceased by: her brothers, Chuck, Emerson, Wes and Joe Simmons; and her parents, Stewart Simmons and Bertha Simmons.
She is survived by: her spouse Ron; her children, Rhonda Kroeplin (Tom) of Walkerton, Cheryl Jurjens (John) of Goderich and Brent of Walkerton; her grandchildren, Alicia Wilson (Rob), Steven Kroeplin (Chantal), Scott Kroeplin (Megan), Brigitte Giesen (Andrew), Nathan Wise and Josh Crouse; her great grandchildren, Tommy, Jack, Abby Rae, William, Lucas, Nicholas, Dominic, Alexandra and Oliver; her siblings, Betty Flewelling of Guelph, Hap Neff of Kitchener and Shelda Schaeffer of Stratford; and her sibling-in-law Audrey Simmons of Wroxeter.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Grey Bruce Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
