He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dennis and Grant; his parents, Neil MacDonald and Lydia MacDonald; and his parents-in-law, Tubby and Dorothy Schmalz.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Pat (Alesha) of Walkerton, Ian (Alexandra) of Toronto and Lisa (Rand Kirkorian) of Neustadt; his grandchildren, Emersyn, Peyton, Prestyn, Rowynn, Dylan, Haven and Rhylan; his siblings-in-law, Susan Brundritt of Walkerton and Jacky Schmitt (Hap) of Walkerton; and also Marlene MacDonald of Walkerton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
