He was predeceased by: his sons, Rick and Tim; his son-in-law Nick O'Hagan; and his parents, Dominic Fischer and Pauline Fischer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Paul (Connie) of Teeswater, Marlene O'Hagan of Walkerton, Debbie Hodgins (Murray) of Bervie, Norma Zettler (Doug) of Walkerton, Carol Ernewein (Brian) of Ottawa and Cheryl Grant (John) of Hanover; his siblings, Alf (Laura), Betty Haelzle, Charles, Paula Weber (Allan) and Pat Goetz; and also, Donnie Clark (Judy) and Joan Jorden (Gib). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Walkerton Food Bank or Saugeen Hospice Inc. would be appreciated by the family.
