We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2022, at the age of 99, Phyllis Young Arkell (Walkerton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Thomas Young; her husband Herbert Arkell; her children, Jim, Gail and Rob; her great grandchild Jordan; her siblings, Urilla Vance (Elmer), Lloyd Nicholson, Clarence Nicholson (Sheila), Ruby Friar (James), Jim Nicholson, Sybil Esplan (Dave), Vina Thompson (Stewart), Clive Nicholson, Gwen Rossiter and Stan Nicholson; and her parents, Esline Nicholson and Estelle Nicholson.
She is survived by: her sons, Harry Young (Janet) of Cargill and Les Young (Lorraine) of Walkerton; her children-in-law, Heidi of Oakville, Jacqueline of Salem and David Graham of Severn Falls; her siblings, Dorothy Calford of Chesley, Anne Gibson of Owen Sound, Violet Swannell (Bob) of Owen Sound, Barbara Ferguson (Bob) of Wiarton and Lawrence Nicholson (Shirley) of Owen Sound; and her brother-in-law John Rossiter of Barrie. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
