He was predeceased by: his brother Jerome; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra O'Hagan and Denis Bester. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Darby (Kristie) of Kincardine, Garet (Jill) of Walkerton and Kellie of Walkerton; his grandchildren, Kylie, Marley, Patrick and Sloane; and his siblings, Brian of Walkerton, Margaret Mary Mittelholtz (Jim) of Kincardine, Nick (Marlene) of Riversdale and Kathy Bester of Owen Sound. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Saugeen Hospice Inc or the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
