She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Cavill and Florence Cavill (MacDonald); her husband Dale McDonald; her significant other Bob Barfoot; and her brothers, Jim and Joe Cavill.

She is survived by: her friend Cheryl Fleet "Fuzz"; her aunt Jan; her uncle Don; her friend Robert "Bob" Barfoot; her children, Michael McDonald (Tricia) of Airdrie, Alberta and Kerri Wells (Ben Chard) of Walkerton; her grandchildren, Sullivan McDonald, Jordan and Avery Wells; her siblings, Jack Cavill (Ellen) of Chesley and Janet Gransden (Don) of Owen Sound; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Cavill of Chesley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
