He was predeceased by: his spouse Lenore Al; his son Robert; his grandson Andrew Scott Al; his siblings, Corrie Duynisveld (Gerry), Kees Al (Corrie), Chris Al, Anna Dietrich (Jerome), Nick Al (Elaine), Peter Al and Leo Al; his brother-in-law Anton Wessels; and his parents, Cornelius Al and Helena Al.
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Beverley) and John (Marge); his child-in-law Stacey; his grandchildren, Sarah (Colin), Jennifer, Timothy (Shauna), Michael, Courtney (Cody), Mindy (Tim), Jason (Kristen), Claire (Joe) and William; his siblings, Tiny Wessels, Helen Ryan (John), Bart Al, Hank Al (Cheryl), Joe Al (Jaquie) and Tony Al (Vera); and his sisters-in-law, Marg Al and Caroline Stepanick.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
