He was predeceased by: his wife Beth; his former wife Hazel Caslick; his siblings, Carl (Margaret), Elleta Aitken (Stuart), Margaret Ferguson (Bob), Ruth Sewers (Russell) and Ada Aitchison (Doug); his sister-in-law Anne Wallace (Manley); and his parents, Adam Nickel and Elizabeth Nickel.
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Frankie) of Walkerton, Doug (Diane) of Mildmay and Doreen Rybchynski (Bob) of Blackie, Alberta.; and his grandchildren, Adam (Ashley), Brett, Charles (Laura), William (Janice), Mike, Lesley (Mike) and Katie (Zenon).
