He was predeceased by: his sister Gwen Johnston (Fred); his parents, Bill Dennie and Shirley Dennie; and his grandparents, Norman, Louisa Dennie, John and Grace Sockett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pam Schumacher (Ron) of Walkerton, Jim Dennie (Marlene) of Nova Scotia and Rob of Walkerton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
