He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Irene; and his in-laws, Pat Netzke, Walter Kirkham, Madeline Riley, Janice McCutcheon and Linda McCutcheon.
He is survived by: his spouse Keitha; his children, Karen Verwey (Shawn) of Wartburg and Brian Riley (Jamie) of Formosa; his granddaughters, Anna and Zoe; his siblings, Grace Riley (Don Drysdale) of Bellville, Gladys Netzke of Goderich, Noreen Riley-Kirkham of London, Wesley Riley (Lorraine) of Teeswater, Winston Riley of Mildmay and Tom Riley (Karen) of Walkerton; and his siblings-in-law, Edwin McCutcheon and Wanda McCutcheon of Lion's Head. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church (303 Jackson St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
