She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Schefter (Jim); her siblings, Merle Swartz and Byron Swartz; and her parents, Clifford Swartz and Elsie Swartz.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Berberich of Kitchener, Daniel (Marlene) of Mildmay, Jim (Theresa) of Glencairn, Carol Holden (Mark) of Barrie and Marlene Dennie (Jim) of Nova Scotia; her great grandchildren, Kolby, Ava, Brooke, Hailey, Theo and Norah; her brother John Swartz (Donna) of Sutton; and her sister-in-law Ruth Swartz of Timmins.
