He was predeceased by: his brother JJ Donnelly; his siblings-in-law, Alfred Keiffer, Vince Kraemer and Agnes Folmer; his nephew Robert Kraemer; his parents-in-law, Joe and Veronica Folmer; and his parents, Harold Donnelly and Hannah Donnelly.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Patrick (Nicole) of Pinkerton and Paul (Michelle) of Chepstow; his grandsons, Justin and Matthew; his siblings, Maurice Donnelly (Betty) and Dianne Kieffer of Walkerton; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Donnelly (Ken Steffler) of Pinkerton, Patricia Kraemer of Greenock, Bill Folmer of Chepstow, Charlotte Ruth (Peter) of Hepworth and Bob Folmer (Linda) of Walkerton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
