He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his brothers, Joseph Szuch and James Szuch; his nephews, Mark and Jim; his sister Cecilia Alt (Richard); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Szuch; and his children, Mildred Atkinson (Al), Wendell Szuch Jr., Linda Carrocci (Frank) and Loretta Szuch. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren (Laura, Margo, Emily, Kate, Dan, Lindsay, Stephanie, Alexandria), 13 great-grandchildren (Amelia, Max, Ewan, Mattice, Carter, William, Cole, Mila, Isla, Clara, Brooklyn, Cecilia, Nora) and many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Wendell may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program or the Welland and District Humane Society.
