She was predeceased by: her grandson Andrew; her great grandchild Zachary; her brothers, Roelof and Diedert; and her brothers-in-law, Piet and Jelle.

She is survived by: her child Grietje Sierdsma (Greta); her husband George; her children, Marc (Kim), Walter (Carolyn), Martha Plath (Ben), Ron (Sherry) and George (Sylvia); her siblings, Tina, Sienne Mink (Andy), Meine Schilstra (Geeske) and Zus Wesselius; and her siblings-in-law, Greta Schilstra, Jaap Sierdsma (Hilda) and Elly (John). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
