He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his stepchildren, George Dennis and Jeanette Mellen; his parents, Reg Barrick and Irene Barrick; and his siblings, Joyce and Ross.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marlene Henderson (Bill), Beverley Brisley (late Vince) and John Dennis (Juliette); his grandchildren, Michelle, Shawn, Brian, Barry, Connie, Kevin, John, Darlene, Brenda, Elaine, Jeff, Kim, Donnie and Janet; and his brother Eldon Barrick (Bernice). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
