He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; his daughter Karen Atkinson; and his siblings, James Atkinson and Zane Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Brady of Lyons, Diane Meade (Larry) of Princeton, Carl Atkinson (Ronda) of St. Williams and Ed Atkinson (Vivian Devellano) of Port Dover; his granddaughter Jodi Leger; and his children, Raymond, Abby, Jennifer Donner (Mark), Sydney, Georgia, Jeff Meade (Bonnie), Van, Andie, Riley, Niki Lavoie (Jamie), Chloe, Kase, Stephanie Meade (Stewart Acott), Matthew Atkinson (Ashley Ryan), Donavan (Beth Douwes), Ava, Emma and Daina (Catlin Charles). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
