It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter Penner (Vineland, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away, on December 8, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Penner and Katie Penner (Braun); and his siblings, Janet Froese (Ben) and Rudy (Tilly). He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Armstrong (George), Karen Penner and Lorraine Klassen (Rob); his grandson Ben Klassen; his siblings, Harry (Bonnie), Ernie (Paula) and Elfrieda Penner (Rudy); his sons-in-law, George and Rob; his grandson Nik; and his wife Martha.

When COVID suspended those visits, he would make coffee at home and call his friends on the phone. And at 90, he could still beat his kids at Scrabble!

To honour Walter's memory, donations to the Tabor Manor Radiant Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
