Walter Jacob Friesen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Jacob Friesen (Vineland, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jake, John, Sarah and Irma (Frank); and his in-laws, Johnny, Henry and Elsie (Hank).
He is survived by: his wife Lily; his daughter Kathleen Dueck (Rod); his son-in-law Keith (Marisol); his grandchildren, Alanna (Tyler), Cam, Brendan, Lauren and Jesse; his great grandchildren, Lily and Beckett; his daughter Cheryl; his sisters, Lena and Justina; and his in-laws, Frieda, Susie, Irene, Anita, Ewald (Betty Ann) and Vic (Jeanne).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vineland United Mennonite Church (3327 MENNO, Vineland, ON L0R2C0).
