Susan Vander Ryd Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Vander Ryd (Vineland, Ontario), born in Hamilton, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Susan Vander is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Susan Vander's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ford and Vera Ford; her siblings, Muriel Fredson and James (Carole); and her nephew Kenny Ford.

She is survived by: her sister Arlene Pettersen (David); her nephew James Pettersen (Caroline); and her nieces, Heather Smith (Mark), Dawn Black (Charles Gezink) and Nancy Christie (late Peter). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
