He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Dirksen and Katharina Dirksen; and his siblings, Betty Boldt, Tina Braun and Jack Dirksen.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Judy, Kenn Kraeker, Wendy, Jim Thiessen, Larry, Betty Dirksen, Bev Koop, Don, Barb Fast, Suzanne, Les Schuender and Marilyn Koop; his grandsons, Bradley Kraeker and Steven Dirksen; and his great grandchild Ryker VanZantan.
