He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Mary; and his siblings, Marlene and John. He is survived by: his wife Clara; his children, David, Wasif, Wayne, Wendy, Doug and Trish; his grandchildren, Emily (Chris), Matthew (Alana), Nicole (Jeremy), Ben (Melanie) and Elijah; and his sister Margreta Gronskiand Ruth (Stan).
