He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Jason (Tawnia) and Julia van Staalduinen (Duane); his grandchildren, Tim (Brooke), Taylor (Morgan), Michael (Kayla), Terin, Emily, Tori, Morgan and Talia; his brothers, Henk (Lien), John (Jenny), Bert (Jane) and Ben (Rini); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Laanstra, Tina Hookey and Sylvia Wyant (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
