He is survived by: his husband Gerhard Fast; and his children, Troudy Clark, Lindy Desantis (Vic), Rosie Rankin (Al), Birgit Johnston (Thain) and Gary Fast. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
