He is survived by: his spouse Helen; and his children, Monika Giesbrecht, Karl Giesbrecht, Karl Klippenstein, Cathy Klippenstein, Rose Goertz, Paul Goertz, Ursula Kowcun, Dan Kowcun, Betty Doerksen and Garry Doerksen. He is also survived by several siblings, as well as 16 grandchildren.
