He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his parents, Walter Troup and Verlie Troup. He is survived by: his sister Mary Horner; his children, Susan Troup St (Beaton Sheppard), Robert Troup (Lorraine Troup) and Heather Troup (Bob Hooshley); his grandchildren, Sybil, Matthew, Nye, Cei, Michelle and Lorne (Rachel); and his caregiver Sheri.
