She was predeceased by: her husband Kurt; her parents, Heini Hofmann and Else Hofmann; her sister Waultraut; and her brother-in-law Heiner Eberwein.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patrizia Vandenbogerd (Alan) and Christiana Unruh; her grandson Justin Unruh; and her brother Horst Hofmann (Carmen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
