Donald Leroy Whitfield Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Leroy Whitfield of Vineland, Ontario, born in Sarnia, Ontario, who passed away on August 5, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Leroy Whitfield to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Whitfield and Annie Whitfield; his former wife Vilma Whitfield; and his sisters, Evelyn Johnson, Marilyn Smith and Joyce Hammond-Papineau.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Whitfield; his children, Julie Woodhouse (Alan) and Jim Whitfield (Heidi); his stepson Roger McNeill; his siblings, Stuart Whitfield (Lois), James Whitfield (Debbie) and Marlene Hampshire (Fred); his granddaughter Rebecca Metherel (Nathaniel); his great grandchildren, Everett, Eleanor, Beatrice and Bennett; his grandson James Cromwell (Alyssa); his great grandchild Emilia; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Emily and Benjamin Whitfield. He is also survived by many in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Due to Covid restrictions, masks will be required and all physical distancing rules will apply for the brief viewing that will be offered prior to the Celebration of Life that will be held at the Beamsville Church of Christ, 4900 John St. Beamsville, on Tuesday, August 11th.

Memorial Donations may be given to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital or Great Lakes Christian High School.
