He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikolai Dahl and Helene Dahl (Martens); and his siblings, Nikolai Dahl, Jacob Dahl, Hans Dahl, Maria Braun and Annie Jantz.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenie Tisch; his son Edward; his siblings, Mika and Henry Dahl; and his children, Ingrid Dahl, Nel, John Derksen and Monica Dahl.
