He was predeceased by: his spouse Anela Artelt. He is survived by: his children, Angelika Artelt-Evans (Neil) and Karin Winkler; and his grandchildren, Sarah (Jake), Stuart Christine (Michelle), Claudia (Scott) and Petra (John). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
