He is survived by: his children, Petra Newbold and Kareen Butler (Paul); his grandchildren, Michael (Jen), Jason, Mark and Ashley (Kyle); his stepson Ed; his son Ashton Hansen; his great grandchildren, Bryden, Aiden and Benjamin; his siblings, Marlena Hilderbrandt and Heinz Wendeler (Hilda); and his close friend Tony Kacan (Caro).
