The passing of Richard Smith of Verona, Ontario, born in Kingston, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 14, 2024 at the age of 77. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvine Smith and Janet Smith. He is survived by: his wife Donna-Marie; his children, Kevin (Tess), Bradley (Chrissy) and Kathy (Darrell); and his grandchildren, Brennan (Caroline), Adrian (Jade), Dawson (Anita), Joshua (Katie), David, Megan (Logan) and Kolten.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) - NICU would be appreciated by his family.
