He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory and Elizabeth (McKay); and his siblings, Helen, Ruth (Patterson), Doreen, James (Jimmy) and Stirling.

He is survived by: his sons, Ross Wood (Terri) of Thornbury and Bruce Wood (Martine) of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Brad (Kat), Scott (Brittany), Abigail and Isaac.
