She was predeceased by: her husband Paul. She is survived by: her children, Anne, Marie and Joseph; her children-in-law, Raymond and Mary Lynn; her grandchildren, Iris, Phillip, Lauren, Jessica, Kristen and Adam; her grandchildren-in-law, Ethan and Courtney; and her great grandchildren, Theo, Lily, Nolan, Milo, Jordan, Madeleine and Parker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T3M1).

Donations honouring Lai Ping may be made to the Scarborough Health Network General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, where she received the greatest of care.
