He is survived by: his wife Susan; his parents, Anna and Angelo; his children, Julia, Adam (Inês) and Richard; his sister Maria (Ilidio Martins); his siblings-in-law, Karen, Lorraine, Anthony and Dave; and his nieces and nephews, Angelo, Sara, Amanda, Jeff, Matthew and Jesse.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. David's Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., Maple, ON L6A1C6).

If so desired, donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
