She is survived by: her husband Jack Carter; her daughters, Christine Carter (Stefan Gross) and Janice Nickerson (Mike); her grandchildren, Alya Al-Joundi (Nick Rehayim), Nicola Wenn (Peter Disera), Nathan Gross and Noah Gross; her brothers, Roy Chant (Helen) and Verne Chant (Linda); her siblings-in-law, Elaine Baker and Garry Carter (Pat); and her nieces and nephews, Sandy MacKay (Ian), Carolyn Duncan (David), Amie Chant (Kevin Belanger), Heather Miller (Jeff), Bonnie Fisher (James), David Baker (Mary Ellen), Eric Chant (Cynthia) and David Chant (Christina).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kane-Jerret Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J6W6). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
