He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eva and Elsie May Shorters. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kathleen (Leif Loponen) and Graham (Alicia); his grandchildren, Suvi, Ellinor, Brandon, Hailey, Addison and Ashton; and his siblings, Bryan (Cecilia), Michael (Irma), Christine (John) and Jacqueline (Mike). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
