She was predeceased by: her parents, Nazaire Duval and Clairisse Laflamme; and her brother Constant. She is survived by: her spouse Merle Howes; her children, Michael (Jenna MacDuff), Charlene Wilson (Gary), Melanie Maclaren (Stuart) and Sandra Howes (Michael Miron); her grandchildren, Mila, Avery, Ryder, Tessa, Clara, Keith and Quinn; her siblings, Mariette Dupelle, Leo, Gaetan (Henryka), Maurice, Yvon, Huguette, Roger (Diane) and Robert (Trudy); and her brother-in-law Wayne Howes (Caroline). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In memory of Murielle, a donation to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
