He is survived by: his wife Eileen Rainey; his children, Ian (Kelly), Megan Dewar (Nick) and Ashley Bates (Michael); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Gavin, Kiera, Carter and Nora; and his siblings, Gordon (Marie), Jimmy (late Glenrose), Clarence (Lynn), June Martin (Gilles), Betty McAndrew (Delwin), Eric (Sandra) and Carol McDonald (Willie).
