He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Donna-Lynn (Lara) and Brian (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Patrick and Chloe; and his brothers, Peter and Paul.
He was a volunteer for years with Jump Rope for Heart, and his life was prolonged by research into heart disease, so the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
