He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otto Freier and Frida Freier (Heckmann); his children, Rolf Freier, Dr. Kiti Randall (Mark), Heidi Clarke (Alan), Rebecca Sukharev (Mikhail), Danette Saunders (Ross) and Elita Primeau; his grandchildren, Colin, Nadia, Lola, Victoria, Heather, Dylan, Caleb, A. J. and Andrew; his sibling Dieter Freier; his former wife Maiga Freier (Dorn); his wife Liebgard Freier (Thonigs); and his brother Rolf Freier. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
