He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Brizard and Evangéline Monette; his former wife Denyse Sauvé; and his siblings, Jean-Coeur, Andrée, Madeline, Marie-Claire and Roxane.

He is survived by: his significant other Lise Lacombe; his children, Lucie (Darrell), Eric, Karine, Shawn (Véronique) and Marie Ève (Carl); his grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Cody, Briana, Jeremy, Kadeeja, Maxyme, Shyler and Alexy; his great grandchildren, Luca, Bodhi and Laine; and his siblings, Joseph (late Joan), François (Suzanne), Benoît (Francine), Thérèse (late Marcel), Antonine (late Guy) and Marie-Reine (Jean Claude). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
