She was predeceased by: her husband Manfred Schroeder; and her sister Maria Pfeiffer. She is survived by: her children, Karin (Rainer), Ulrich and Viola (Brian); and her grandchildren, Felix, Judith and Melissa. She is also survived by one brother-in-law and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Elisabeth's memory are encouraged to donate to The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation A Tree of Remembrance for Elisabeth will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
