He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Proudfoot and Ruby Proudfoot (Reid). He is survived by: his close friend Sylvie; his children, Meaghan (William Lyons) and Rachel; his stepchild Mitch; his siblings, Hugh (Elizabeth), Ian (Ruth) and Bonnie (Claude); and his cousin Phip. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
