He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche Currie; his parents, Henri Fournier and Albina Berniquez; and his siblings, Abraham, Philippe, Thérèse, Euclide, Gilberte and Mégile.

He is survived by: his children, Gilles (Johanne Roy) and Lynn (Rachelle McCoy); his grandchildren, Yanik, Sonia, Marc-André and Julien; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Léa, Marianna, Émilie, Olivier, Eva and Tom. He is also survived by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
