It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Nooyens (Val Caron, Ontario), who passed away on June 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Poirier and Rose; her daughter Maria Mathieu; and her brothers, Wilfred and Joseph.
She is survived by: her husband François Gariepy; her children, Danny Nooyens (Sylvia Seffinga), Louise Nooyens Shepherd (James) and Carl Gariepy (Cindy Paré); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Adriaan, Jason, Kimmy, Chanel and Tony; her great grandchildren, Rose and Jayjay; and her sisters, Rita, Patricia and Jeannette. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
