She was predeceased by: her spouse Alcide Pharand; her parents, Alexandre Plante and Flavie Plante; and her siblings, Lucien (late Léona), Achille (late Jacqueline), Alcide (late Isabelle), Lucienne Quesnel (late Arthur), Laure Soulière (late Noël) and Florence Perreault (late Lionel).

She is survived by: her children, Marthe Van Leyen, Gisèle Guilbeault (Jacques), Lucille Dennie (Donald), Jacqueline Pharand, Hélène Lachance (Raymond) and Suzanne Pharand (Aimé Giroux); and her sister Hortense Cyr (late Lorenzo). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
