He was predeceased by: his mother George. He is survived by: his spouse Margaret; his children, Andrew Smith, Craig Smith and Heather Smith (Russell); his grandchild Macy Smith; and also Uxbridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.
