He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; and his son Lee Eckersley. He is survived by: his children, Lyn Eckersley of Unionville and Kim Eckersley of Collingwood; and his grandchildren, Mikyla, Nicholas, Aaron, Tristan, Sienna and Randall.

Memorial donations to the Campbell House Hospice, 240 Erie Street, Collingwood would be appreciated by the family.
