William Dufty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dufty of Union, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Dufty to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dale Dufty and Paula Haight (late Bill); his siblings-in-law, Ned Hall (late Ginny), John Hall (Pat), Barbara Whall (late Ross), Shirley Hinds, Ken Hall, Linda Barnard (Brian), Doug Perry (Linda) and Laura Adcock; and his parents, William "Bill" Dufty and Edith Dufty (Beattie).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dufty; his children, Shane Dufty (Shirley) and Debra Sutherland (Rob); his grandchildren, Chase Dufty, Breeanne Dufty (Eric), Brendan Sutherland (Nicole) and Jessica Sutherland; and his extended family, Tammy Ford (Jim), Ray Haight (Michelle), Cheri Schmoelzl, Brett Haight (Sherry) and Bart Haight (Ursula).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Union Sports Club & Community Centre, or the Hospice of Elgin.
